Actors in the Nicolet Players theater troupe are learning to shed their day-to-day personas and instead take on the roles of eccentric dinner guests, an obsessive gourmet chef, and an anxiety-laden maître d’ for the upcoming production The Art of Dining. Members named to the cast are, seated, left to right, James Cape and Claire Kafka Duda, both from Hazelhurst , Casey Venezia and Judy Lehman, both from Rhinelander, JoDee Sherwood, Gleason, Michael G. Miller and Athenna Brown, both from Rhinelander; standing, back row, Bradley Bidell, Minocqua, and Bobbie Keso-Mode, Rhinelander. The zany comedy is filled with quirky characters who reveal how not to act when out for a night of fine dining in a fancy restaurant. Public performances are scheduled for Nov. 8 to 10 and 14 to 17, with Sunday performances at 2 p.m. and all others at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 and $10 and can be purchased online nicoletlive.com or by calling (715) 365-4646.
