Congratulations go out to the 15 recruits who recently completed Nicolet College’s Law Enforcement Recruit Academy. Each is now eligible to be certified by the Wisconsin Department of Justice to work as law enforcement officers in the state. The challenging 720-hour program included a mix of classroom and hands-on scenario training to give students the skills necessary to respond safely and effectively to a multitude of different situations. The 2018 graduating class includes, front row, left to right, Josue Rojas, Elcho, Michelle Czlapinski, Rhinelander, Joseph Bures, Antigo, Melanie Goeman, Crandon, Noah Nicholson, Antigo, Alexander Schmidt, Prentice, McKenzie Kubisiak, West Bend, Connor Johnson, Rhinelander; back row, Brad Bigboy, Odanah, Ryan Ankerson, De Pere, Daniel Andrews, Tomahawk, Benjamin Hintze, Merrill, Adam Boney, Crandon, Christopher Mork, Elcho, and Robert Dumovich, Eagle River. Each graduate earned a 32-credit Technical Diploma. Graduates also receiving 66-credit Associate’s of Applied Science Degrees in Criminal Justice Studies included Michelle Czlapinski, Christopher Mork, Noah Nicholson, and Josue Rojas.
