- Description is exactly "<b>Press Release Text: <br /><br /></b>Thirteen individuals recently graduated from Nicolet College’s Law Enforcement Recruit Academy with each now eligible to be certified by the Wisconsin Department of Justice to work as law enforcement officers in the state. The challenging 720-hour program included a mix of classroom and hands-on scenario training to give students the skills necessary to respond safely and effectively to a multitude of different situations. The 2019 graduating class includes, first row, left to right, Jevin Budzynski, Tomahawk, Audra Demmith, Harshaw, Nancy Dehmlow, Park Falls, Park Falls and Phillips Police Department, Trista Tripp, Woodboro, Jason Higgins, Three Lakes; back row, Mason Wamego, Elizabeth Cook, Connor Newman, and Sean Peterson, all from Rhinelander, Max Samardich, Bessemer, Mich., Hurley Police Department, Jacob Colassaco, Ironwood, Mich., Roger Weber, Antigo, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, and Austin Babich, Laona, Forest County Sheriff’s Office. Each graduate earned a 32-credit Technical Diploma. Graduates also receiving Nicolet’s 66-credit Associate’s of Applied Science Degrees in Criminal Justice Studies included Austin Babich, Nancy Dehmlow, Audra Demmith, Sean Peterson, and Mason Wamego."
